John 3:3

Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

There is a self-designed salvation masked under a different name, successfully deceiving those who desire parts of Christianity but not the entire Gospel of Jesus Christ as it is written. Invoking the name of Jesus mitigates the consciences of those enlightened by the truth of the Word of God. It allows followers to imagine they have achieved salvation by acknowledging Jesus in some way, while ignoring the parts of the Gospel they find unappealing. People have always sought to pick and choose what they like from Jesus’ words, even when Jesus was upon the earth.

The practice of Christ consciousness is not a true form of Christianity? It teaches “a level of awareness where you no longer see error in any action that you do or in any other human being, but see only the beauty and perfection in all things. For the (Christ Consciousness) does not judge, does not criticize, coerce, tempt, does not condone, does not react negatively. Is that what Jesus did and taught? God forbid!

As Born again children of Christ, we have no excuse for remaining ignorant of (The Word of God) because we have the “whole counsel of God” (Acts 20:27) available to us—the Holy Bible is complete. As we “study to show ourselves approved unto God” (2 Timothy 2:15), we are less likely to be taken in by smooth talkers and false prophets. When we know God’s Word, “we are no longer to be children, tossed to and fro’ by waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, by craftiness in deceitful scheming” (Ephesians 4:14).

Recuse yourself from the world and study God’s Word. Meditate on it and let it change you from the inside out. Be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Be all you were created to be, in God’s image. Not a counterfeit!

In Christ our Lord,
