If we aim at nothing, we’ll probably hit it
Our carnal mature is to find reasons why success is invariably distant and difficult to achieve. Enter the Holy Spirit, the Word of God (Holy Bible). Two of the most valuable and equally as powerful weapons for both offense and defense against the enemy. But until you come to understand that they are the same in nature and produce the results we seek without fail, the outcome of that which you need, you shall not find.
God is speaking to you through the Bible, His Holy Word. Pray, ask the Holy Spirit to give you insight on a verse that touches a particular need or spotlights a sin that dominates you, and pray about it. When you finish reading, pray again that God would help you act on what he has said to you. Bible reading combined with prayer will transform your daily Quiet Time from a religious habit into a two-way interaction with God. (your Christian walk)
Hosea 4:6 (KJV)
“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.”
You are a born champion for the Lord. But a champion must know his enemy. He must remain physically, mentally, and spiritually prepared to face any consequence large or small, and confront it with the Word of God. The Word says, I am the righteousness of God (II Cor. 5:21)
Put away a sin consciousness and come boldly to the Throne of Grace. (Heb.4:16; 10: 1 & 2.
Be a bold soldier for the Lord, not a frail slave to the enemy.
In Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.
