Evangelist Al Garza
1 Corinthians 1:17. For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect. 18. For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.
Evangelist Al Garza believes that sharing Jesus with the lost is one of the most important callings one can follow as Christians. The answer to the world’s needs is Jesus Christ, and God has chosen you and me to reach the lost. According to Acts 1:8 every one of us is to be a witness to the lost world. We are the human vessels through which Christ Jesus reaches them. Jesus can save and heal, but He needs our voices and our lives to spread the Good News.
Garza teaches that the Cross of Christ is the foundation principle of all Biblical Doctrine. It is the first principle of Redemption, brought about in the Mind of God even before the foundation of the world (I Pet. 1:18-20). This means that every single doctrine must be built on the foundation of Christ and the Cross, or else, in some way, it will be spurious. And that’s the problem with the modern Church; it is building doctrines on other foundations, not the Cross.
Evangelist Al Garza proclaims the Gospel by telling others what the Lord has done in his life. Being a testimony unto our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The way we speak, act, and live our lives, is a powerful way to show that faith in Christ and what He did at Calvary works, and that Jesus is alive. Our obedience to God, our positive words, and our good attitudes make us stand out in a world filled with darkness. When we love others, sharing a kind act or encouraging word, we help others to draw near to Jesus. Instructing and improving moral and Christian knowledge are small components to a much larger domain, The kingdom of God through the power of salvation.
Evangelist Al Garza helps people understand their need for a Savior, and the love and grace God offers. Romans 3:23 tells us that all of us have sinned and come short of the glory of God. John 3:16 NKJV says, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” And John 1:12 NKJV says, “But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name.” As God’s ambassadors we must encourage people to make a decision for Christ by offering to pray with them and invite them to their Special Day of Salvation.
Anointed by the Power of Holy Spirit Evangelist Al Garza founded OCS Ministry to preach the achievement of the most praiseworthy moment in everyone’s life, “God’s promised Gift of Salvation”. Believers are taught to live a victorious life of God’s promised Word by focusing on the Message of the Cross, where Salvation and Faith bide their arrival. His teachings accentuate Christianity as a relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ, not as a religion.
“He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.” Revelation 21:7 (KJV)
There is glorious Victory in Jesus Christ. May His Mercy and Grace be with you always. Amen!
